This restaurant is perfect. Small, attractive, well-located near the Trocadero, and with a great menu. But on top of all that La Place has phenomenal wait staff. Fadela and the tall young man who waited on me were both friendly, professional, and humorous. In my 3 weeks so far staying close by, I believe I’ve eaten at La Place 4 times! Even with all the restaurants nearby, I know that the service, food, and welcome will be superb at La Place. In addition, both of my servers spoke enough English to work with my poor French to communicate quite well. I’m returning home, soon, but I’m hoping to return one last time before I do.
